This video highlights the celebration of Ridge View Residential College's 10th Anniversary, featuring interviews with Resident Fellows, alumni, and students. It showcases the journey of RVRC over the past decade, from its beginnings to becoming a close-knit community. Through stories, special moments, and shared memories, the video reflects on the achievements and growth of the college, making it a memorable tribute to everyone who has been part of the RVRC family.

As a College in Nature, RVRC aims to continue its greening effort by creating a new reforestation plot at the main entrance to the college. This learning forest will enhance the native biodiversity of the campus and provide a space for both learning and recreation. The RVRC Learning Forest will also contribute, in small part, to the NUS Sustainability's 'Planting 10,000 trees' initiative.

This was part of our project in NUS where we explored fundamental RTOS concepts such as tasks, scheduling algorithms, and RTOS customization. We utilized ARM and the RTX framework, transitioning from Arduino Uno, to delve into low-level programming. I filmed and edited a video demonstration of the project where we had to time our robot to complete the maze.

Raya with Ridge is a special event at RVRC designed to educate residents about Ramadan and Aidilfitri. Our pre-event videos included interviews with non-Malay Muslims, such as exchange students, as well as discussions with non-Muslim residents to gauge their knowledge of Ramadan and Eid. This initiative aimed to promote cultural understanding and inclusivity within our college community.

For Lawnside Chats, we aimed to produce concise interviews and podcasts featuring prominent students in RVRC, such as senior student leaders, resident assistants, and international students. These individuals shared insights about their roles, memorable experiences in RVRC, and valuable tips for current residents. The primary goal of this series was to promote our college and foster a sense of community among its members.

Fun fact: This was actually my very first attempt at filming and editing a video! It was quite the learning curve transitioning from photography to videography, trying my hand at colour grading, storyboarding, and all that jazz. But hey, I had a blast putting it together, and I hope it shows in the final product! Check it out and get a glimpse into the fun side of our Panthera House Committee.
